She had an intense interest in reading from a very early age and had it mastered by about 25 months old. There was also a recent study of "optimal outcome" - that some children with autistic traits don't turn out to be meaningfully. Oct 06, 2008 · Remember: Asperger's can have just as great a social deficit as Autism, it just usually manifests differently in appearance, but the outcome is the same. Electric_Kite, I meant that all people with Hyperlexia are also Autistic, but not all people who are Autistic have Hyperlexia. It's very rare to have Hyperlexia without an ASD.
